A yeast infection can also be called a yeast allergy. This can be taken in different ways and some people think that they should avoid all things yeast altogether and not have it in any form, but you need to understand that in this instance, yeast allergy is aimed at more internal yeast problems that can affect your health. It's important for people who have chronic yeast infections, should ideally stay away from food containing yeast and fermented foods. This includes alcohols, especially beer and wines. They should also stay away from breads, refined foods and meats and mushrooms. It's also advised that they avoid sugars and carbohydrates. It seems like everything good is gone huh? Well, it's about lifestyle changes so; you make a decision to stay away from things that make your yeast allergy recur.

Add leafy vegetables, citrus fruit such as oranges, grapefruit, limes and lemons, chicken, grains such as buckwheat and brown rice, garlic, vinegar, cranberries, curd, yogurt into your diet. There are also herbal remedies that you could look into using such as Echinacea, tea tree oil, slippery elm bark, aloe, golden seal, yarrow, comfrey, Sage, raspberry, mullein, black walnut hull, and myrrh among others. Using prescription and over the counter medication is also advised, but as always consult your physician if you want to use together with herbal remedies.

Preventative measures are also very important in fighting yeas allergies. For example, abstain from sexual intercourse when having an episode, wearing loose clothing, avoiding douches and scented feminine protection. The steps we have to take to prevent the allergy to yeast are very simple. It just seems like a lot to give up for many people.
